AI Solution Engineer

Your role

• Analyse client needs with the founders and propose a suitable architecture
• Design and build AI agents, RAG, OCR and business applications in our secure environment
• Build business benchmarks to select and evaluate models
• Optimise models for the client’s hardware: quantisation, batching, performance measurement
• Prepare demonstrations, prototypes and the technical sections of proposals
• Hand each solution over to the Forward Deployed Engineers, with tests and documentation

About you

• Engineering degree or master’s in computer science, AI or applied mathematics
• Less than two years’ experience in applied AI or software engineering: internship, apprenticeship or first role
• Strong Python skills and experience with a deep learning framework (PyTorch or equivalent)
• Hands-on experience with LLMs: agent design, RAG, evaluation
• Rigorous measurement: test sets, metrics, model comparison
• Clear writing in French and English

Nice to have

• Machine learning research experience: PhD, academic lab or industrial R&D
• Optimised inference: quantisation, inference servers, latency measurement
• AI system security: prompt injection, data leakage, guardrails
• Scientific computing or physical simulation
