As a Forward Deployed Engineer, you take our AI solutions into our clients’ organisations. You work inside their teams, on their infrastructure and within their security constraints, until the solution is in production. One example: at Orano, redesigning the OCR and AI agent architectures on a secure on-premises server cut response times by 66%.
Your role
- Scope requirements with the client’s business, IT and security teams
- Integrate AI agents, RAG and OCR with client systems: databases, APIs, internal tools
- Install and configure our AI servers on client premises, in isolated environments
- Take solutions into production, measure results and iterate quickly with users
- Document each deployment for client teams and for security audits
- Feed lessons from the field back into our reusable components
About you
- Engineering degree or master’s in computer science, data science or applied mathematics
- Less than two years’ experience in software engineering or AI: internship, apprenticeship or first role
- Strong Python skills, comfortable with Linux, Docker and networking
- Experience putting LLM applications into production: agents, RAG, evaluation
- Able to explain a technical choice to a CISO and to a business user alike
- Professional French and English
Nice to have
- Experience in a regulated sector: nuclear, defence, healthcare, banking
- Deploying open-source models on local servers: quantisation, batching, inference serving
- Systems security fundamentals: hardening, access management, logging
- French defence security clearance, or eligibility for it
